Economy & Society

Axis 1. Social Protection, Social and Solidarity Economy, and Health Economics

We study social protection in all its dimensions, inequalities and redistribution policies, health and well-being issues, as well as the field of the social and solidarity economy. Part of the research conducted within this axis is carried out through the ESoPS Chair (Social Economy, Protection and Society, https://chaireesops.fr/), affiliated with the Institute of Economic and Social Administration.

Axis 2. Work, Employment, and Labor Relations

Our research focuses on the evolution of work organization and working conditions, employment dynamics—with particular attention to processes of segmentation and precarization—changes in occupations, labor relations, gender equality and the balance between work and family life, as well as employment policies.

Axis 3. Epistemology and Contemporary Economic Thought

We analyze recent developments in economic thought, whether analytical, methodological, or applied. Our reflective approach aims to highlight their epistemological and methodological implications from a dual perspective of the history and sociology of science. This axis coordinates the Network for Epistemology and the History of Recent Economic Thought (REHPERE) (https://rehpere.org/)
