For its first Data Focus, the CES chose to host a seminar open to all members of the laboratory, during which two researchers present data collection in the context of their research projects. These concrete examples aim to spark discussion among researchers, participants, and the experts in attendance. The session is also dedicated to presenting the research support services offered by the CESDoc librarians.

The microeconomic consequences and regulation of immigration in France - Lea Marchal
The economic consequences of immigration are the subject of heated debate in France and around the world, as the costs and benefits associated with immigration are difficult to measure. The project analyzes the microeconomic consequences and regulation of immigration in France. It studies the strategies implemented by companies to hire immigrant workers, thereby contributing to the analysis of the impact of immigration on the labor market.
This project will use confidential data with the approval of the Statistical Secret Committee (INSEE: Base Tous Salariés: Postes file (BTS-Postes); DADS Panel; All Employee Panel; Popuation Census (RP); Profiled Business Outlines (CEP) - DGDDI:NC8 Customs Declaration (DOU NC8); Imports/Exportsin Combined Nomenclature NC8 (ENQ NC8) - DGFIP/INSEE: Estimated Results File of Esane (FARE); Unified Accounting File in SUSE (FICUS)).

Oral Histories of Economics - Dorian Jullien and Francesco Sergi
The Oral Histories of Economics project releases into the public domain and makes available online in open access oral sources for the history of economics. Sources available include mostly interviews (audio recordings and transcripts) with economists, covering their research practices and the history of their discipline. Interviews are organized in different sets ("collections"), by topic and authors(s), on the website: https://www.oralhistoriesofeconomics.org/
