DataFocus CES #4

On October 7th, the Data team of the Sorbonne Center for Economics hosted a new edition of DataFocus. Researchers, lawyers and documentalists were able to discuss data deposit practices and the challenges involved in research practices.

Emilie Roux (Head of the CES Documentation Centre) opened the session with a background presentation on data warehouses and recommendations for choosing a data warehouse.

Subsequently, Dorian Jullien, PhD and lecturer at CES, presented a concrete case, that of the "Oral Histories Economics" project, carried out with Francesco Sergi. Dorian Jullien spoke about his experience and the issues associated with data management in the context of his oral history practice.

We would like to thank Kodjo A. KOKOU, a data protection lawyer (CNRS), the ENSO team (Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne) and the design engineers from Huma-Num and MSH Worldwide for their presence and expertise.
