Franck Lecocq, CNRS Deputy Scientific Director for Economics, visits the CES

The Centre d’Économie de la Sorbonne was pleased to welcome Franck Lecocq, CNRS Deputy Scientific Director (DAS)* for Economics, on Tuesday 20 October 2026.

The day began with presentations by researchers and faculty members of a selection of notable research projects conducted at the CES, giving Franck Lecocq a sense of the full richness and diversity of the laboratory’s activities.

He then toured the premises, CESDoc and the LEEP, and met with the research support and administrative staff (ITA and BIATPSS). The day concluded with discussions with the CES’s supervising institutions, its management team and its researchers, making it a productive and rewarding visit for all.

* The Deputy Scientific Director (DAS) serves as the main point of contact for research units, coordinating and steering their activities on behalf of CNRS Humanities & Social Sciences. He is directly involved in strategic dialogue with the units, in the evaluation of their projects, and in decisions on the human and financial resources allocated to them.
