Money in the Feminine: How Finance Speaks to Women

As part of the 2026 edition of the Printemps de l'Esprit Critique, the Centre d'Économie de la Sorbonne is hosting a public conference on the theme of women and finance.

Gunther Capelle-Blancard, economist and professor at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, will analyze the mechanisms that shape women’s relationship with finance and invite the audience to take a critical look at the economic, social, and cultural factors that influence it.
