Partnerships

The Centre d'Economie de la Sorbonne maintains close ties with public and private partners to foster original research on key issues that are essential to understanding and sustaining the vitality of our societies.

Our research chairs bring together multiple partners around joint projects aimed at generating knowledge, ensuring its dissemination, and enhancing its impact. They enable our partners to benefit from cutting-edge research in areas connected to their activities and from direct access to experts, engage with a pool of talented students and, more broadly, strengthen their visibility and outreach.

Social Economy, Protection, and Society

Embedded in the IAES (Institute of Economic and Social Administration) and backed by the Foundation of Université Paris 1 Panthéon – Sorbonne, the ESoPS Chair combines research, professional expertise, and training to better analyse the changes currently happening in the social world.

Striving to decompartmentalise knowledge and to integrate the complexity of mechanisms at the intersection of the social economy and social protection, it focuses on an interdisciplinary and inter-risk approach to bring appropriate and cross-cutting answers to the issues raised by individual protection.

Cultural Pluralism and Digital Ethics

Co-sponsored by Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, the PcEn Chair's aim is to serve as a hub for multidisciplinary exchange and research. Funded exclusively by external partners, the Chair’s team conducts applied research focusing on two main areas: the diversity and quality of cultural and media content online, and the ethical challenges of algorithms and digital technologies.

The PcEn Chair is also dedicated to fostering dialogue between stakeholders in the cultural and digital sectors by regularly organizing meetings and debates on current issues
