The CES is hiring in 2026

The Centre d’Économie de la Sorbonne (CES), Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, invites applications for the following permanent faculty positions, starting September 1, 2026:

- One Full Professor in Applied Mathematics

- Two Full Professors in Economics

- One Assistant Professor (Maître de conférences) in Economics

The CES is a leading research center in economics, located in the heart of Paris, with approximately 100 permanent faculty members and a similar number of PhD students. It fosters cutting-edge, open, and interdisciplinary research in economics.

The successful candidate’s research is expected to align with the laboratory’s scientific programs and/or with the AI-Lab for Human and Social Sciences. Applications will be evaluated in particular on the basis of research quality and publications in leading journals.

Qualifications:
For the Assistant Professor position, the French qualification (qualification aux fonctions de maître de conférences) is required to be eligible to apply.
